I work with a variety of issues,
from loneliness, depression and
relationship difficulties to
loss & bereavement. With your
permission we will gently
explore your difficulties and
work together towards enabling
you to address them at your
pace. Within 4 sessions I wish
us to have a stronger
therapeutic relationship & you
to feel able to further explore
your needs with continuing
support.
Unfortunately, there are times
in our lives where stresses or
concerns can become too much to
bear. Or we experience a crisis,
bereavement, family/relationship
difficulty, trauma or deep
sadness (along with many other
reasons) which makes life very
unsettled for us.
When we feel this imbalance,
sometimes the right decision to
make is to seek counselling
support and share our concerns.
Reaching out and acknowledging a
need for support can be a
massive step for many people.
But it is such and important
step!
Counselling cannot take away the
experiences you have had but,
through the therapy process, you
will be able to make sense of
what you have experienced. The
purpose is for you to be able to
move forward with a sense of
tranquillity and equilibrium in
your life.
I can work with you to explore
areas or situations in your life
that are currently causing you
concern, unhappiness or
distress. My aim is to enable
you to feel more empowered and
to progress at a pace that feels
safe and comfortable for you.
Our time together will give you
the opportunity to explore,
discuss, share and process your
thoughts in a totally
confidential environment. I will
provide you with support in a
wholly safe place, allowing you
to be true to yourself and
express your needs without fear
of judgement, expectation or
prejudice.
As a qualified and experienced
counsellor, I work within the
ethical guidelines and framework
of the BACP (British Association
of Counselling and
Psychotherapy).
