I'm a South
African, multicultural
psychotherapist living in
Granada. I specialise in Gestalt
therapy and also use
mindfulness, body connection,
breathing & creative expression
techniques, depending on each
client and their specific needs.
Supportive and non-judgemental
therapy sessions in a safe and
confidential environment in
English and Spanish, online or
in person, in my private
practice.
My special focus areas are:
ANXIETY + EMOTIONAL CRISIS
- learning to listen to our body’s messages
- physical symptoms of stress and emotion
- dealing with conflict and relationship breakdown
- lack of self worth and low self-esteem
EXPAT & CULTURAL ISSUES
- the difficulties of being far from home and loved ones
- living in a foreign country and culture
MODERN DAY STRESSORS AND
CHALLENGES
- the inability to slow down and relax
- the relentless impulse towards productivity
- social media, technology and information overload
- overeating and unhealthy relationships with food, sugar and
processed food
DIGESTIVE HEALTH & SUPPORT
- healing unhealthy relationships with food and eating
- restrictive and binge eating
- associated lifestyle changes and habits
- stress management
I work individually with clients
& also complement individual
sessions with reduced group
therapy sessions for those
interested, with the aim to
simultaneously aid clients in
reducing monthly costs of
therapy and nurture a sense of
community that normalises the
expression of feelings, sharing,
creative expression and
emotional connection.
I am a qualified Gestalt
therapist and member of the AETG
(The Spanish Association of
Gestalt Therapy) with
undergraduate and postgraduate
studies specialising in
psychology and a masters in
leadership and management of
people.
