Q1. Why
are the solutions so inexpensive? Does this mean
that they are not as good as face-to-face
therapy?
A1. Each
solution has been broadly written in answer to a
general issue which many people have problems
dealing with. If the solution had been written
specifically for you, the price would be very
much higher as you would be paying for a
therapist's time to construct them, likewise
with seeing a therapist face-to-face whose
hourly rate is often five times more expensive.
This doesn't make the solutions any less
effective, it just means that because the
solutions can be purchased and used by a number
of people, we can offer them at a very low
price.

Q2.
Surely face-to face therapy is the best way to
help me?
A2.
We strongly believe that face-to-face
therapy can be the most effective solution for
clients but not everyone can make the time to
see a therapist and not everyone can afford it
either. Also, we know through experience that
there is a need for clients to be able to work
on their own and at their own pace. Of course,
there is the option of email therapy where the
client and therapist can both work at their own
pace to some extent, but we feel that offering a
"quick therapy solution" is a good option for
those who lead busy lives or who don't have a
lot of money to spend on therapy.

Q3.
Why are they called "quick therapy solutions"?
Surely no therapy is quick?
A3.
There are types of therapy nowadays that are
thought of as "quick". Solution-focused brief
therapy is just one and is a recognised therapy
offered by the NHS. It is goal-oriented and
hopes to allow change to come about faster than
conventional therapy. These "quick therapy
solutions" can be used in that way or they can
be used over a paced period of time. It is up to
you how you use them.

Q4.
Do I have any guarantee that the solution that I
buy will work?
A4. With
any form of therapy whether it be face-to-face,
online, webcam, email or worksheet-based, there
is never a guarantee that it will work. The
therapists who write these solutions are all
qualified and experienced with many years in
their field at working face-to-face with clients
in organisations, the NHS, private practice and
workplace settings. They have condensed that
experience into a succinct series of worksheets
and are very sure that these "quick therapy
solutions" have every chance of being as
effective as they can be. You, the client, will
be motivated to work at them and make them
effective for whatever issues you are attempting
to resolve. |
