I practice at the Elite clinic where we are dedicated to constantly improving our knowledge and expertise, and am therefore committed to both ongoing training and adopting the latest developments in therapy techniques. At the clinic we treat a wide range of conditions including, helping clients overcome the symptoms helping clients overcoming addictions (all substances), panic attacks, depression, phobias, etc (a full list is featured on the website, link below). In addition we offer a very busy couples/marriage guidance type therapy.

Whilst I see clients with a wide range of problems, my particular interest is in the field of diet and nutrition and in the use of hypnosis as an aid to weight loss and weight maintenance. I also work with hypnotherapy as a treatment method to help alleviate the symptoms of IBS; I am on the UK IBS registry.

I come from a medically trained family – my mother was a nurse, my brother a doctor and my sister is a midwife. After gaining a BA (Hons) degree from Lancaster University, I spent a few years teaching before following my strong interest in Psychology.

As any reputable and qualified therapist will confirm, the relationship between the client and the therapist is a fundamental component of successful therapy. To this end, we encourage all new potential clients to come along and visit the clinic for a completely free and non-obligatory, initial consultation.

The free consultation enables you to meet us, and us to meet you, on an informal basis; it also allows you to see for yourself where and how we work. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and to supply you with the information required for you to be able to decide whether or not you wish to entrust us to help overcome your problem.

My aim is to help people change their lives for the better, whether they are coming to see me for basic counselling and guidance to solve relationship problems, or to stop smoking, lose weight, overcome panic attacks, insomnia, or a specific addiction, fear or phobia.
